The EXPO commissions established within the main theme of EXPO 2021 Garden of Civilizations will hold regular meetings on topics such as the urban environment, flower, botany, climate change and natural life parks in the next three years. Including producers on a sectoral basis, EXPO commissions will carry out botanical field studies and situation analyses of the region together with stakeholders such as non-governmental organizations (NGOs), universities, and chambers of commerce. A different rural development move is planned in Hatay with the Horticulture Expo.

As a result of the situation analyses, it will be determined and projected the plant species and gardens that will take place in the EXPO 2021 Garden of Civilizations. In the time of EXPO, NGOs and commissions will work effectively in order to carry out events, and they will organize activities in related fields.
