ART AND CULTURE TOWN

Antakya, the third largest city of the Roman period, was a centre of attraction with its entertainment and rich lifestyle. At the same time, this region was the Renaissance centre of the period and inspired many art and artists. The artefacts from archaeological excavations are evidence of this. The Art and Culture Town built within the Expo area will host national and international events, workshops and exhibitions that will reflect the synthesis of all these civilizations, serve the cultural interaction with contemporary presentations and programs in universal criteria, and keep the traditional and forgotten arts and crafts of the region alive. This town, which is thought to inspire creative sectors, will be a guide for sustainable art.
