Hatay, where the three heavenly religions lived together, is a sacred land where religions and civilizations meet both ezan and church bell, and mythological stories accompany the prayer sounds. Hatay is preparing to leave its mark on the EXPO 2021 with the theme of ‘Garden of Civilizations’. The culture of civilizations, including Hatti, Huri, Mou-kish, Hittite, Assyrian, Persian, Macedonian (Alexander the Great, Hellenistic Period), Rome, Arab-Islam, Byzantine, Seljuk, Crusaders, Mamelukes and Ottoman Empire, will be felt in the EXPO area and the plants grown in those period will be exhibited in the Garden of Civilizations.

In addition to this, the three heavenly religions -Islam, Christian and Jewish- garden will also be included with the theme of ‘Garden of Civilization’. Their epics, stories, myths will be explained in small presentation kiosks in the gardens.
