As a result of its geographical location, Hatay is a region where the Mediterranean climate prevails over the four seasons. The favourable climatic conditions positively affected the unique fauna of the region, resulting in rich plant diversity.

Fruit and Vegetable Gardens

Hatay alone meets 25% of the fresh fruit and vegetable needs of Turkey. 250 varieties of fruit trees grown in Hatay and around 100 bio-vegetable species will be exhibited in this area.

Flower Areas

In order to show that many flowers can grow in Hatay microclimate, different kinds of flowers will be exhibited in harmony in the Expo field.

Endemic Plant Areas

With its rich flora, Hatay hosts 10% of the endemic plant species grown in our country. Our aim is to introduce our endemic plant diversity to the whole world and to make this sector sustainable by taking endangered species into the culture.
