EXPO 2021 is in Hatay with all its colours

WHY HATAY?

Hatay is one of the oldest settlements in Anatolia. Historical findings of life in the region date from up to B.C. 100.000s. Findings show that the region was used as a common settlement area in the middle paleolithic, Neolithic, chalcolite periods and in the Bronze Age. Amik Plain; In Çatalhöyük Tel Tainat, Tel Cüdeyde and Tel Atçana, the first bronze age settlements were identified and architectural remains were found. Remains, in these settlements, gives clues that they lived in the form of small kingdom community.
