It is said that the first masters’ of glass decoration and glass art started production in Antakya, which are the first places where the glass was produced in the world. In Antakya and around the region, the art of green glass-blowing is quite developed. Antakya glass-blowing art, which has a history of thousands of years, is being performed by a few masters today, while the sustainability of this branch of art which is forgotten has been tried to be ensured. The works of this art branch which was first started around the Meydan Bath are still exhibited in different parts of the city.
